Has anyone ever brought back a batcap from the grave? I got a couple that are heading south.

how have you been charging them? sometimes a very slow and long charge can help

they did sit awhile because i wasnt competing....i can charge them and get them up to 16-17v but they dye back down. the slow charge doesnt seem to work unless i am doing it wrong..I have a powermaster charger

slow charge them for a few days, they probally need awhile to build the capacity back up

if the battery had full current, those batcaps should see well over 19v when fast charged

Chances are some of the cells are dead. Not much you can do at that point. Almost impossible to repair too.

take the battery apart there are 90 tall d cells in there 2v each some of the cells are probally weak ill take them off your hands

Depending on how long it has sat, MAYBE it would help to try cycling - charging, then discharging a few times - but thats a big MAYBE.
