Hi I have a batcap 800 & was wondering if it is ok to put a stinger 200AMP CURRENT RELAY BATTERY ISOLATOR with the batcap. Also will I notice a difference?

you'll probably see about a 0.4volt drop just from having the relay in-line. I wouldn't waste my time with it.

^ come on d-bass u should know if he is wanting to run a relay then he has 2 different types of batterys.

YES this is what you should use! you wont see a .4volt drop eather that is with a battery isolator with a relay maybe.1v...

dont use isolators, they are a waste of time not to mention being BAD for your alternator in the long run.

a Batcap800 should mix in fine if the car is driven regularly.
If the car was going to sit a few weeks at a time, i might just disconnect it instead for the dead period.

The thing is when I run my kicker amp @ 2ohms it cuts out. So do I just need to get another batcap? Or what is wrong?
