I put my hands on a factory 120 amps VW alternator, however, it's regulated at 14.0 volts (Hence, voltage drops to 12.9 volts at my 2 amplifier when suking over 175 amps)

I wonder if there is any regulators that i can find that could pump up the voltage a little bit (say to 14.5 or 15 volts) Or is there ajustable regulators (external) that i can fit to those alternators? (Again it's an original VW alternator, 120 amps on a 1995 Golf)

Regards.

What kind of VW??? I think that msd or one of the aftermarket racing companies makes adjustable regulators... not sure if such a beast still exists though...

1995 Volks Golf, and the stock VW alternator was replaced with another VW 120 amps Alternator (The same as in the Eurovan Campers) It's still a VW alternator.

If it's internally regulated, chances are you wont be able to do much with it, unless you know a good EE who is willing to work with it.
