I dont think you will get much more than 100A or so from the Red Flooded TS batts... if you want to go the flooded batt route, you may want to look into some 8V tractor batteries. -------------------- Scottie Johnson Sound Pressure Technologies

I am only using the TS batteries because they were cost effective. If there were another battery option available to me then I may go that route. I was hoping since I did well enough on my own with the build and equipment in my first season at World Finals that I would get some help from a manufacturer. My Blazer is the loudest in extreme 1 in the USA. Thats saying something at least. I would be happy to entertain offers and pricing programs on some batteries if someone wants to help. -------------------- Extreme Sound Productions 2010 Events January 2nd/3rd 3X dB Drag New Years event + <-- event is on the calendar

Thanks Scottie. I will keep in touch. Do you make a competitive 12v battery for a Street Max application which only allows for a single battery under the hood with vehicle turned off and up to 4 big amps in the back? What would be the ideal amount of 16 volt batteries to use per actual 8,000-10,000 watts of power? Which would be one amp. 4-6 batteries maybe? -------------------- Extreme Sound Productions 2010 Events January 2nd/3rd 3X dB Drag New Years event + <-- event is on the calendar

Depends on where you want your voltage to be... With the XS Power D1000, if you want to stay above 14v, you can get by with 4. If you want it to stay above 16v you will need around 7 or 8. Any other 16V battery I would allow at least 35% more batts to do the same job... -------------------- Scottie Johnson Sound Pressure Technologies
