The specs are good, I agree, however look at the internal resistance. Comparing the odyssey 2150 and the tempest group 31 (TR series), the tempest internal resistance is 30% higher than in the odyssey battery. This means that the power you receive from the battery will travel at a slower rate than if the internal resistance was a little lower. Thats why with an odessey 2150 you get a max discharge of 2150 amps in 5 seconds, compared to the tempest group 31 you get a max discharge of 1800 amps in 5 seconds. So based on these specs, which one would be the best battery, if you are using it for spl?!? Now for baserace, it may not make a difference. http://www.hawker-odyssey.co.uk/

Good daily but probably not for spl. I was also looking at them last year and good for money. I think only about 200 bucks.

The company that makes them is pretty big so I bet it would be a pretty good battery.
