ok i have 12 hawker d cells and want to run a 14 volt system for 1 show.so will these help out at all or will I be wasting my time? they are the 5 AH. and i they will work is there a better way of wiring them? should i run the pos or neg from the amp to the cells or will it matter?

What other 12v batt are you pairing them with? How many do you have? If they are 5ah they are the x cell. A better cell than the d and not much more money.

I have a big deepcycle from a cell site that rest @ 13.8.i have 2 batterys and 12 cells.but was only going to run one battery.unless told other wise

Parallel the 2 12v batts. Take all 12 cells and run 10ga leads to a central location like a bolt or copper bar. Then use those bars to series with the 12v batts. I would series the negative of the cells to the positive of the 12v batts. Then use the neg of the batts and the positive of the cells.

8ah? What's that one? The j cell? Can't remember right now. Anyway, I would still do as I recommend. But don't run like that constantly.

no they are d cells. and its just for one show for a few burps
