Hey guys,

Im pretty sure Im going to be doing a little modifying of my mounting bracket area for the 250 amp alt in the AC position...the belt is just not contacting a great enough portion of the alt's pulley in my mind and I get a little slip every now and then...so im looking for a pulley that I can put in place near the alt to bring the belt up at a steeper angle and touch much more of the alt's pulley.

So im just asking those who do this themselves....where do you head to get a pulley for this? If you point me in the right direction to an online place I can surely figure it out and find what I need.

Thanks in advance

Order a replacement idler pulley for like a '92 5.0 mustang. You can get it from any auto parts store.

And Matt get back to me on my email about replacing my stock alternator with that 200-205 amp alternator if you can. I think this pulley and replacing my stocker will really keep things smooth for me.

Thanks again

they sell standard idler pullys at Autozone....you just need to get creative to make it work. Ive used those in the past with my dual and quad setup, then Dom sent me the ones i currently run which are just 2 large bearings with a bolt and a spacer. So far i like that the best......but for convienience you cant beat your local auto parts store.
