so i have finally reached enough power where i need a HO alt, ok ok i reached that point a while ago but im a cheap bastard and lived with the voltage drops. now with a Z1a i HAVE to get a HO alt. is mid to high $400s sound right for a 250a alt? i have gotten quotes from 2 places that will remain nameless for my 2000 explorer. i just wanted to make sure thats about right before i go and pull the trigger. i have found them used in "perfect working order" for low 200s.
