I run a JL 500/1 & a 10W7 with an Alumipro 5 fared capacitor. In the last 6-9 months something strange happens when I shut off my ignition.I don't shut off power to my system - I've always just shut off my ignition and I didn't have this problem before. After I shut off the ignition my sub burps about 5 times with each burp getting quieter. The first burp isn't loud, but it's definitely noticeable. Then it burps a few more times (about a half a second between burps) each burp getting quieter until it's finished. Is my capacitor going? My Yellow Top under the hood is only a couple months old and is still in new condition. Thanks for any help/advice. Martin

The source is an Alpine W205 with the 701 processor.I run a 300/4 for my tweets and mids up front. Grounds are the same as always. Nothing seems to have changed since I had the system installed about 2 years ago other than the fact that I replaced the original W200 with a W205 after the W200 was stolen. You don't think it's the capacitor? I'm not positive, but I don't think I had this problem after we dropped the 205 in.Do capacitors go? What are some of the symptoms that a capacitor is on its way out? Thanks - Martin
