This setup is still under construction. It consists of 3 large case GM alternators that test out at 225 amps each @ 14.4 volts and 250 + amps each @ 15.5 volts. All 3 alternators will be controlled by 1 external regulator. 2 alternators will be on a switch so that they can be turned off and on as needed! There are currently 4 batteries in this setup. 1 Walmart battery under the hood, 2 NSB G3100's and 1 12 volt Batcap 8400 inside. The plan is to have 2 NSB G3100 under the hood and 2 inside along with the 12 volt Batcap 8400. Also there is to be 18 runs of 1/0 wire. 8 positive and 8 negitive on each side from front to rear + recharge and ground. 2 recharge wires will be fused so that i can pull the fuse if needed so that my truck can fit the 2 alternator limit for SS class or use all 3 for bass race. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Thanks Carlton. There is so much work to do still. Oso the equipment is all American Bass. Right now it has 2 AB VFL 500.1's ( The plan is to run 4 500.1's) on 4 of the new american bass HD 12" subs. 2 AB SQ 945 mid and highs amps. 2 5.25 componet sets and 1 set of SQ 65M midrange/mid bass drivers.

Nice set up you're workin on there Vernon. With that much sub and power, you'll find yourself upgrading to more mids and highs quickly. I promise....lol.
The alts look amazing, and I'm sure as always your build will be one of the cleanest and best installs in the organizations.

Thanks again Carlton. The plan is also to build the front door panels with 2 6.5 midrange and 2 6.5 midbass drivers per door. Also some sort of small sub in the console. I get a headache just thinking about the work that has to be done!

i bought the same bracket from them. good bracket but we could never get the perfect fitting belt so i had to change the idler pulleys on the bracket itself to fit the belt.

It's a sweet setup! What belt did you use? OG recommends a Napa belt part # 25-061203. This belt is 13/16 wide and 120.7/8" long. To get this belt to work properly I changed the factory idler pulley from 3.5" to a 3" and the that belt fit perfect.

Looks good! The only thing I would suggest is not switching two of them, it really won't save you and power or milage, they will regulate themselves down to nothing once the batteries reach full charge.
A custom overdrive crank pulley to get the alts all the way into their production curve at idle RPM would be pretty bad-ass too.
