i would be impressed if someone could get me evidence of what, other than the terminals, are different on an NSB90

it IS effectively making the sport MORE expensive - the end!

i would defy anyone to tell me how it makes it cheaper this year (with the exception of multicell batterys - and they should have been nipped in the bud when we first saw one - as this is not even an argument for multicells)

I think the issue they are really trying to avoid is someone making a battery like a multicell that leaks through the rules last year. I do agree with you that a telacom battery is cheaper and but I know some people out there that are already trying to squeeze around the battery rule with non-automotive battery. I think they should leave it as DOT approved and move on.
where it gets interesting is....the nsb90 IS DOT approved.

Not sure about all marine batts, but the Optima Blue top should have been legal the whole time. It's labeled for boats and RV's, which would make it an automotive battery too.

Yes the 75 is legal. But it's the exact same battery as the NSB G2400 and same price.

I believe the Stinger 1700 and the Odyssey 1700 are the same battery, so the same specs.

And is Cactus making a regular 6 cell battery for Street, or just the multi cells?

CS is coming out with several different sizes for different applications kinda like diff stuff like Powermaster or Kinetic would have but not the same if ya know what I'm saying. [Smile]
