Hi, I have a group 31 blue top and I was just wondering how long they last for? I have had it for almost 4 years and during that time have done alot of SPL shows and have daily driven with it the whole time also. I don't know how long these batteries stay good for under these conditions and what type of other batteries are comparable because I realise that I likely need a new battery. This is for street A with 2 XX cyclops amps. When the power is off it sits at like 12.37 volts and when I turn on the power on the amps and deck and such it goes down to around 11.99volts. I haven't checked to see the voltage drop of how much power the amps are putting out at max yet but thats going to happen this weekend

I would replace it. It should float around 13v fully charged. You might try reviving it with a good cc/cv AGM battery charger, but the money may be just as well spent on a new battery.

the only charger I have is a 2amp/10amp automatic charger from princess auto. It will charge until the battery is at around 14.9volts and then it will turn off. Then once the charge drops because the surface charge leaves it will turn on again and charge it even higher lol. So its probobly not the best charger in the world but it was only $25

Yeah... not ideal for a sealed battery... you could probably bring it back to 95-98% capacity with a good constant current/constant voltage charge. Maybe one of your buddies has an XS Power charger you could borrow to see?

i will see if someone has one. I tested today. Two cyclops running at 1.4ohms strapped, both amps together output was 28 amps and 106 volts as measured via an amp clamp and a regular cheap voltmeter. Not sure exaclty if they are reading RMS or peak but from reading around the net it seems like they read rms on normal sine waves...maybe I could get some input there. Anyway its not much power and the voltage was dropping to 9.8volts
