They are good batteries. They compare to Optimas dollar for dollar. If you have $400 in one its about the same as $400 of the other

you get what you pay for with these. I tried two and they were pretty much a no go. They got extremely soft after about 3 months of use.

any how much current would your amps try to draw at full tilt?
It's amazing what you squeeze out of them two bats.

The guy at walmart would give Geoff a look like this [What] [Freak] [Eek!] [Roll Eyes] when he said...I'm running 40kWrms of amplifiers, and there's something wrong with these batteries.

Hehe, are we talking about the deep cycle Maxx batteries? I use two on my test bench -- they seem to have a large reserve but drop under the charge voltage much faster (they hold high 11s for quite a long time once they drop down there) and take more time to re-charge vs. an AGM like a Kinetik or Powermaster XS Sport. I'm using em' since they are so cheap for the bench [Smile]

The internal resistance is extremely high in the deep cycle ones. 2 1800 watt amplifiers is all I used on 2 the the big Maxx Marine batteries. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
