Guys, I'm tired of having to worry about my wires getting pulled out or tangled. I was looking at cooks van + a few others and the all have the quick disconnectors attached to them in the rear. I just want to plug my podium into the van and be ready to go! where can I pick theses things up?

Maplin or RS do a wide variety of plugs from household to industrial, military to aerospace.

Pick one that tickles your taste buds.

The RS industrial range are nice.

You mean like this one on my taillight?

It's a 24 pic connector with large pins and no soldering required. I did a search on google for "industrial connectors" awhile ago and ended up finding mine on ebay.

Ok, I just looked...try page 743 of the McMaster-Carr online catalog for connectors similar to the one on the back of Geoff's van.

I used a 7 prong round tow connector or camper connector. Worked very well, no problems.
I bought it from a auto parts store.

Something like this:

I was gonna use one of those too (actually did in 2006) and was told not to becuase oiver time they can give you problems.
