i think the tests were mainly the 16 volt batts of both respective brands.
the 2400 vs the d3100 would be a wash imo for the powermaster. The kinetik isnt a super strong burping battery compared to some of the other stuff out there...ie)g31, 2150, nsb90, d3100 etc

well i can honestly say my kinetiks was a improvement over my 2150 and g31 it was only a few tenths diffrence in my nsb 90 so dont believe everything people say about them until you try each for your self you will get diffrent people saying diffrent things for the customer service they are top notch any problems i had was promptly taken care of no charge to me. so just go with what you know or just try them all i did.

I have to get my Kinetik in, but I dare say it won't be hard to be an improvement over the 2 Optima's I've used at different times both dropped to below 9.5v with only 3000wrms, and that wasn't even near full power. That was measured at the battery too, at the amps it was .2v less I'll see whether this one drops as much.

ok, we have ran kinetiks back when they were hc power. their were only 2 people running these at i think it was 2001 or 02 finals frank homberg ran them to. first off the 2400 on its own is not a very good burp battery. their are way better. thats were the 3200 came in. one thing i do know and im sure several will agree that in a bank the 2400 is hard to beat. 12 or 16 volt. they have a good reserve. so the answer is yes. if you compare a 2400 to a nsb or something equal to the nsb the 2400 will loose. now if you want to hold a 10 minute burp or leave your lights on for 4 days and start your car and yes we have tried it, it wins. you can even call kinetik and they will tell ya the same thing.

i know that the hc2400 has much capacity. But the same capacity u can get much more cheaper with 2 Optimas etc for the same money and u also have much more power then.
btw. did kinetik also tell u that they have big problems in quality of their batteries? The european distributor told that the chinese/koreans (not sure who of them) are making bad job and kinetik gets batteries with different quality/power. So i u have luck u get a good working kinetik. But if u have not luck u even can not get 200 amps out of a kinetik hc2400.

doesn't that distributor sell their own battery now? (thinking we went over this once before lol) i also know a lot of retail outlets here in the states have dropped batteries you say are better due to failure and for some odd reason they sell kinetik and have for now longer than they carried your so called "better more reliable" batteries....i have used optima and a few others and none has even lasted as long as my kinetik i run now (3 years).
