i would say a really low ir with decent capacity (for size if street class) and 2 would depend on your division of bass race...from the lower 2 classes i noticed alot of stock batteries

K. TY very much. Will be for a couple classes in USACI. 601-1800 stock and SB3. Allowed alot of batteries in SB3, but not in stock, which will be the primary class for my wife.
Going to have 2-ASA2000.1 in the back strapped. So I figured 2 good deka g31 or g34's would work. Or I saw 2 interstate batteries that may work and there reasonabley priced.

just depends on the class. if you had a 6000 watt system in bass race but werent in a higher db class i would consider capacity as big factor (there would be a ton of veriables) thing though that you want is consistancy

K. so reserve capacity is a factor. What about the short numbers ? should it be high for a burp ? Since this will be for two classes, this may make finding a battery semi hard. LOL
I read on deep cycle as apposed to regular batteries and agree with discharge and life span of each. This will all be run off the alt and daily driven. Maybe see a charger before shows only.

Power master D3100s hold up very well. Check into them. I swapped out from NSBs to these and I get the same results without having to charge up to 18vs.

This will be for a 12volt system. Daily use. The d3100's and the nsb good for daily ? I heard batcap may be the big thing now, but from my understanding, they don't do well with long runs like bassrace or sb. They are good for burps tho, as someone said on another forum.
