I was thinking more like SBN!!! We set up a tent have bought bats on disply for all to see. All test will be done on same mic.
Now tell me what are your ideas how you would like to have this test done farely?
SBN, hm, I haven't been there in a few years! I'm thinking to do the test in a car, pref not yours or kents own vehicles but other than that I don't care whose! I would also like to do this test with 2-3 different amplifier configurations if possible just to see that comparison as well...have batteries precharged and time limited recharging between rounds of testing, everything must be well documented so we can come back and post honest and fair results! Too bad you are so far away, you won't be visiting fort wayne anytime in the near future will you?

I agree, lets just stick to the original comparison for now as to not complicate things! Also, No mudslinging before or after...we will post fair and accurate results and let people draw their own conclusions from there.
If you are gonna be up this way in jan, will you have time to do testing then? If not I understand but it would be nice if it were nearby, hehe! Myself, Norris and Kent are all within 75 miles of each other, thats why I asked! I'm not against SBN btw, its just that, this would prob be the only reason I would go down there...no other reason for me to drive so far, lol.
I'm open on terms of how to do the testing, sounds like you have some ideas rolling, maybe we can get this all figured out on here that way the day of testing we know exactly what we are going to do!

I think that if we do this, we should do it at a show. In that way you have external people looking. Plus you will have other people that can see for them self whats going on.
My idea was have 1 car/van that only needs to be burped by 1 push of a button. No rool up style. Same ride will have to have a easy acc. for the bats to be swaped out. A list will be made, what temp. in and out the ride. What humidaty. How many amps was drawn from the bat. What was flot voltage. What was lowest drop. What voltage the amps have, taken at start and end of each test. All systems will but no hier than 14V at the amps. Ride dos not open for no one to do any thing when bats are being exed. no settings get changed on the amps. No hands on ride.(no window pushing.
Thats just to name a few. I would like to keep this fare and clean.

If you come a few days early we are doing our annual new years eve show, dec 29th and 30th. Sam will be hosting the show and that way he can run the mics and nothing will be tampered with and there will be tons of spectators there! I dont know if this will work for you Cactus, but I think it would be prime time and the show is located mid of everyone.

Not sure about that date. I will be on holiday with my fam. In Jan. I will be going to CES and I am thinking about doing the test then too.

OK, thanks Christoph. I need a decent battery for my DD M3. I was gonna go with a pair of Optima's , but I think my money is better spent on one big battery...or maybe two if I can stretch my budget that far...lol.
