I have 10 16v turbo start batteries and hope to get 10 mre if I can find them since mine are 2-3 years old already. Will these be good enough to get me by in ext 1? I got them because they were a decent price and I dont really wanna spend a few hundred per battery. What should a do

turbo start is a decent battery. however; you might want to Scott Van Riper about the gain from turbostart to Kinetik. [Wink]

turbo starts are good batteries, but
if you have the money and get a deal go with
kinetik batts they will give you more then turbos
if i had the cash and could get kinetik's i would jump on it .

But i am tapped out and not going to do much
in db drag anymore .

sorry people and friends for not being around
but i have other things going on and they come first .

this hobby cost to much and it was fun ..

see ya all some day .

Gb you bought red ones from bob perillo right .

The ones i have are all black ,i used to run 6 red and 9 black but mixing them was a bad idea
alot of people told me it was and i did it anyways .

2 black was the ones nice told you i bought and load tested them and they was bad dropped from 17 v to 8v
the red was old and dropped from 17 v to 11 volts

so now i have 7 black ones and they drop from 17 v
to 14.5 on a load test.each one .
plus now there is a 240 amp alternator under the hood and charges them at 19.32 volts at idle

it is a irragi adjustable reg
the van right now just sits and does nothing ..

last show ever done it did 157 on 7 batts 4 subs in a wall and 2 amps .ss 3-4 class
