When the battery was in the development stage, Nick and I received a call from Ray that let us know the battery was half assembled, (as in ONLY half the cells were wired up!!!!) and it was already stronger than the previous batcap/DD version.
The cells used in this battery are 20% stronger than Ray's previous cells he's been using.
So when you figure a DD battery has 72 cells....then this battery makes the jump to 288 cells, that already screams strong. And add the 20% increase in output, and it's one hell of a battery.
The only downfall, if it even is one, is that this battery MUST remain on some type of charge at all times to get the optimum performance out of it.
Ray is also faxing notices to dealers letting them know this is the newest addition to the Batcap Family and it's stronger than four 8400's and is even available in special order for a 16v model!
So I can tell you from first hand knowledge (as I was involved in the conception of this battery step by step)....if you decide to spend the $3k that the battery costs, you definately have yourself one hell of a street battery and should be able to run any amp on the market in street with little problems.

I think when the same technology gets into the $500 range I'll consider it. Otherwise, I'll just stick with the 2 nsb90's that I have. Don't get me wrong, its a very nice battery, but I'm just not ever going to spend that much money on a battery. Maybe when theres money paid out to the winners like in racing.
