My girlfriend has a 92 Saturn SL2. I wanna beef her alternator up a little. I have heard that I could get it re-wound to get around 10-15A more out of it. They are 85A alts stock. I want at least a 105A current running from it. Is there a site that carries alts for the Saturns? I don't think Ohio Generator's makes one for it, but does anyone know if there is an alt from another vehicle that will fit without mods. I would like to do as little modification as possible, mainly because the alt is under the motor housing, near the oil filter, in that vicinity, and not too many drastic mods can be made anyway. I just thought I'd ask!
