My crx came with A/C. I had to remove the lines when my Optima fell over and arced on them. I am now in the process of having new lines made to route in a different direction.

How the hell did you get that to fit? DID you have to use a hammer on the fender part or what they heck, I don't see how it could work and I was just lookin at it!!

A hammer was used when I put the first battery in a year ago. Wish I had never done it, so I had a body man come repair and paint what messed up.
No hammer was needed when I installed this one though. I removed the factory tray and fabricated one out of abs that sits a little lower, still using the factory mounting holes.
There was a little "convincing" that had to be done, but it finally went in and fit like a glove.

Aren't you an installer for CC?
Jesus, I hope 'Lloyds Of London' insures that location.

Ok, i literally took the pics he posted and tryed to do it myself in full view, and I do not see how it will fit standing up. I can get it to fit OK leaning on its side, but otherwise, I do not see how it works. Can I ask, what year is that vehicle, and is it automatic transaxle or manual? I spent a good few hours today and I got some slight measurements but when trying to get battery in, the trans mount gets in the way and give it slight angle. I also removed the cooling fan and battery tray to see if I could get more to work, but still nothing. I kept measuring it and thinking maybe it would just slide in but then my distributor is in the way. I do not have a/c lines blocking. so i re-installed battery sideways, but I really liked the way carlton has his done, just cannot see how he or anyone else has done it!
