Do you have pics?

No rerouting, the ECU wire loom is still in there.

Pics as requested, crappy cell phone pics but that's all I have of it:

Thanks for the pics. So you removed your a/c and condensor box?

I removed them for easier access during the installation since the A/C was out of coolant anyway, but I put it back after I was done with the wires.

This is how I did it, I cut the bottom out of the small compartment on the passenger side. Not sure if this is how others do it but it seemed the best way for me.
I have my extra battery standing up on that compartment but that is not where most people put the extra battery in a CRX from what I've heard.

Umm, not sure if you're allowed to cut panels like that. I ran mine UNDER that pocket, behind the rear speaker and out the back.

Not a single cut in any panel on my car, minus the firewall.

There is plenty of room in that panel and still retain a rear speaker. Keep in ind, you can STILLgo into the inner framework, closer to the outer shell.

No need to cut ANY panels in thse cars. If you look hard enough, it is right in front of you.

I still have the lid on top of the compartment with the battery sitting on it, it looks 100% stock when everything is in place. I don't see why this would be against any rules, there was no way that I could fit all 16 wires under that panel and still have it in the stock position.

This is nothing compared to what some people do with the big compartment in the middle...

All you have to do is spread the wire out. It is simple to do, just taes a bit more effort.

Now, cutting IS allowed, but only if it serves a purpose and is something a shop would do for a custom job.

If you cut the toolbox up to put an amp in there, then it needs to look good, and finished. Maybe wrap the inside in vinyl to hide the cut marks, etc. But, if it looks raw and nasty you could have some issues at a large 3X event.

Only 4 power and 4 ground, but, I have room for more if need be. But umm....I don't need it.. [Wink]

You mean the shock tower access hole? I believe so. Brocks has close to 73846365 runs coming out of his, and he's never had any problems at Finals regarding that. I was at Finals when they inspected his car last year and even Tor said nothing. Keep in mind, he did not cut that hole, Terry simply removed that cover.

Chuck, I'll see what I can find. I gave Chad one awhile back, but I think I have one left.

Keep in mind, I'm not a judge on any level. But, I've had my car checked by quite a few people, including Brocks, Fred Wright, and some other Street folks. No one had anything to say. I'm just passing along some BASIC info.

I've been wrong before, but, it's best to ask and show pics now than to be sent home from a triple because a of a small cut panel...
