B16 and torque, now that's funny.
hey now when i switched from my d15b2 (added a 16 valve head, dc sports header, hks full catback exhaust and a aem cold air intake) to my b16 (ys1 tranny, Fidanza lightwheel flywheel, Clutchmasters Stage II clutch, DC Sports 4-2-1 Header,Skunk2 Full catback, Skunk2 intake manifold, AEM cold air intake, MSD cap and External coil) i could feel a major difference in torque. Reason i was asking was cause i was highly thinking about switching to a b20 bottom end or even a b18 but didnt know how the power delivery compared to the b16.
On the zdyne its a 1 wire obd1 conversion correct??? and how to you like it compared to other ecus or have you tried any different ones??

Alan's CRX is a demon of a car. The car just pulls in any gear without having to rev out the motor.
You could keep your current setup and add a B18 or B20 bottom end for a frank conversion. Normally franks can see 170-220 HP to the wheel. As with car stereo, make sure you have a competant builder.

On the B16 setup, swap the bottom end with the B20 bottom. Ebay the B16 bottom and the B20 head. Make sure you order the Hasport mounts and linkage while getting all this stuff.

That same company sells block guards as well (I have one and feel a tad more safe with it.)
I was leaning more towards the b20z as it had the higher compression ratio of the 2 and i will most likely be keeping that rex NA, i already have arizona race mounts and linkage and i love them both as for the block gaurd was any machine work needed???

Next weekend I have to fit an NSB 90 in there and I don't wanna loose the cold air intake.... we'll see if it's possible.
It's also getting a new motor and tranny next weekend... the old tranny has bad syncro's and the engine burns oil ...
Nothing too wild, just the SOHC ZC from Japan and a 1991 Si 5spd trans. 120hp But hey anything is better than a CRX engine that is down 25% compression.
Also while the engine is out I think it wouldn't be a bad time to run wire... maybe I'll get to post pictures.
