can i install extra batteries without more alternators. if i can do i just need a higher amperage alternator or what can i do i need some responses please. thanks

i would also like to know the same thing. i know a guy who has a system on his boat and he has two batteries. i think he has his batteries wired together and then a switch so the altenator can charge both of them. responses would be helpful though.thanks

Im looking to put 2 batteries in my 2003 Silverado Ex cab...
Stock alt. for now, the batteries would be a Red top for the engine and everything else and then a yellow top for the system only would just a relay work for this/????

um what about one orion 2500d off one redtop and the big 3 and a 110amp alt will that be enough

i would just wire them parrallel. I had 10 extra batteries with a stock alt and no probs.
