i bought an alt from dom in 2002. Brush holder inside broke due to improper assembly after less than 3 days of use!
I fixed the brush holder myself after Dom wouldnt warantee it and never used the alt after that until I sold it to a fellow local competitor.
Then, the guy I sold it to had the alt bench tested to put out somewhere around 120-140 amps..(was supposed to be 240 amp alt) So I ended up looking like the jackass trying to rip off the guy I sold it to.
Thumbs down from me.
Ill go powermaster or ohio generator for my next one.

Great alternators, bad customer service. Hard to get ahold of. Ohio generators answer the phone and are very helpful and knowledgable.
