Ya know, I feel silly that I posted this up..

I read through much of all the discussions and dang, didn't know Dominick Iraggi was THE Iraggi of MECA's placement system.

Boy, do I feel small and isolated...

Camp Casey eh?

My office right now is in Han nam Dong, next to Itaewon. Betcha been here a lot.
BTW, I'm a Korean, so I don't have an army curfew to say the least. [Wink]

Oh, hooker hill is still alive and well, but it's doomed, as is with the whole of Itaewon when the samgakji US base moves to Osan in a few more years.

You still got friends over here that's into car audio? I can hook them up with some equipments from the states, especially eD subs. [Wink]

Well, I hope my 20-year stay and education abroad taught me something;)

THanks for the compliment [Big Grin]

btw, does anyone have PICS of an Iraggi alt? I'm interested in viewing the heat-resistant "Dominator" sticker as well as if there is a serial number to it (etched, written or stuck-on)

Thanks a million guys~

LOL sorry about me automatically assuming you were a GI!! Yes I know Itaewon very very well lol. I didnt know they were plans on closing bases in Korea, I need to hurry up and go back again. The shopping there is BAD ASS!!!!! I never got a chance to visit the island though. I am in Germany right and was recently in Italy so I am trying to hop all over the world and wherever I go DB DRAG is there!!! I enjoy it alot. Well as far as friends in Korea go I wouldnt really know cause the rotation is yearly and it is hard to keep track of who is there when. When I go back I will try and get stationed near Yongsan this time so that I can bring my Tahoe. So when I do you need to take me to the DB DRAG shows there. And ummmmmm send some pics of the RED light HOOKER hill for me.. [Wink]

EDIT: On page three of my web page I have a pic of the DOM Irragi alternator. It is a rear picture of his 220 amp alt and it is next to my factory 110 amp alternator but it will give you an idea of size.

No problem.. [Smile] Well, technically, not closing off the base, merely "moving" all current bases to Osan. You should know why they're concentrating all American personnel to a central point, especially Osan.. [Wink]

Yup, dB drag is here too, I plan to enter this september's car audio fest in Busan. It's gonna be a long drive, but it'll be worth it. Too bad I'll probably never make it, cause this place only has three classifications, and a single e15A and 1300watts in a 6cube box still won't be able to attain numbers that these guys put out (wall, 3000~4000watts) Unfair, yes, but until the country's market expands, that's all I can enter that's major.

Yeah, if you ever come back, stationed in Yongsan, gimme a shout, I'll have my distribution office up and running soon. Converting to a Korean car audio mecca. [Wink]

No, I don't think a pic of hoooker hill is possible. You don't see them, but the mafia will promptly whip anyone's behind if they try to do something funny. Especially a korean taking pics of hoooker hill? THat's too much mass media stuff, they'll think I'm some sort of reporter and I probably won't be able to write here for some time... [Frown]

On another note, I'm moving house to near DOngduchon, and I'm sure you're aware of THAT place too;)

EDIT: On page three of my web page I have a pic of the DOM Irragi alternator. It is a rear picture of his 220 amp alt and it is next to my factory 110 amp alternator but it will give you an idea of size. [/QB][/QUOTE]

Yup seen it, looks really good, the Iraggi alts. I plan to have stock alt casing, Korean car engine bays don't have a whole lot of space to spare.

Now, if someone had just received their alt, would they mind if they took pics of various angles? [Smile]

Mine looks pretty much like any stock CS130 case GM alternator. Pictures of that style od alternator should be easy to find.

I got an Iraggi 300amp alt for my silverado for 2 yrs, and traded it for a 300amp alt for my crx. Both are very strong, and reliable. And dom is a great guy to deal with. What other alt company out there will have the owner answswer the phone to help you with any question you may have.
