Would the Stinger 80amp Isolater be good enough for a second battery and 1200watt amp?

Yea it should be. The only thing the Isolator does is for charging both batteries it with out allowing a "connection" between the two bats or it alternates the charging between them. With the 80 amp Isolator it only allows 80 amps to pass through when charging. Let me know some one if I am wrong. But you will be fine...Why don’t you just get two new batteries and not bother with an Iso?
