do i need inline fuse between these 2? or only between hood and 2nd?

you will certainly need a fuse between the engine bay and 2nd battery...you wont need a fuse to your 3rd battery unless its a good distance or chance of shorting out the postive wire connecting the 2nd and third....you will want to use an isolator if the batteries are not the same
