I need the negative post on the left side of the battery for my car. Is this battery basically the SAME as a yellow top (w/ the terminals switched)? [Confused]

The orange top is the same battery as the red top... it just has reverse posts.

I was in the same position as you. The optima website reccomended me to get an orange top optima, but I could not get an orange top locally.

After months of deep thought, I figured how to use an red top without re-doing the stock wiring. I turned the battery 180 degrees around, and used a side post to top post converter to connect my stock wiring. Side post converter

Then I used the top post for my "under the hood" upgrades. I spent $100 on the red top, and $9 on the coverter. If your not gonna do the "under the hood" upgrades, I'd go for that orange top on that link, It looks like a good price.
