how many batts can my alt feed and keep them charged?i'm talking about exides or optimas or common car audio high performance batts(about 50ah)deep cycle.

i have a 150 alt under my hood(bosch) [Confused]

you can feed as many batts as you want as long as they are all charged [Big Grin]

A fully charged battery will pull between 5 and 10 amps. if you have 5 batts, thats between 25 and 50 amps of just charging current.

I wouldnt get more batts than you need. It will leave more current from your alt to go to your amps.
