aside from running 2 8v batteries in series what would i need to do, do i need a differant alt to charge them up to 16, or would i have to use a charger and only use them for burps then recharge. what about these 16v batcap things, how would they be charged up, can i do anything from my alt.

right now i have 1 red top and 2 yellows, but my alt only puts out 12.5 at idle, and my batterys stay around 12.7-13, if i rev it to 4000 rpm they go up to 14.1 but when i let off they go back down

how would i go about running a 12v/16v daily driver. also how would i do an 18 volt alternator and where can i get one from, i'm assuming i would probably have to run my 12v alt for the car, then the 18v for the rear batteries so i don't hurt my cars eletrical
