Can you verify it's a 1987 Ford EXP. The latest information I have is on a 1985 EXP which had a 1g alternator on it with 60 amps output. Depending on what alternator you go with, 1g, 2g or 3g may interchange, you could get 200 amps.
I will let you know if they are interchangeable as soon as I find out.
