I have a 96 Jeep Cherokee.. I have already wired from negative battery terminal to ground... How hard is it to wire from positive terminal of battery to alt positive?? How much will this help out?? Thanks guys..

It really isn't that hard at all. Just make sure you replace the right wire. Typically it is the largest. Also, if it is a high output alternator, this should have been done.

On the alt, you should have a post with a nut. Disconnect the old, replace it with a better wire with a good solid connector on both ends.
