I have one Audiobahn A2300HCQ that I'm trying to stabilize at 13-14 volts at the least. I have installed a 165 amp alternator, a yellow top under the hood and upgraded the big 3 wire w/ 4 gauge wire. I'm no longer dropping below 12 volts but average 12.0-12.4 on big bass hits...I would like to have it around 13.0-14.0...any suggestions on what should be my next step to get my dam* voltage to stay there...battery?? batcap?? 0 guage on big 3???

O gauge ATLEAST. 4 gauge is not nearly enough for the current that sucker draws. You're strangling it.

sounds like you need a larger alt if you want your voltage higher while under a load.
