Okay I have a optima yellow top battery and a 140 high output PowerMaster Alternator that I got from summit, anyways I have them installed right now, but I still get dimming of the lights slightly, will this stop my dimming? I have upgraded my power wire from the alternator to the battery to 2 gauge and all the grounds under the hood are 4 gauge wire, nothing smaller. It would be cool if it did.

Thanks Jason

I guess I need to tell you guys out there what I am running for amps which is making my lights dim slightly. I have one PPI Pc2150 for subs that is running at 300x2 at 2 ohms and a mtx highs amp for my infinity component set in the front doors, all in all about 1000 to 1200 RMS.

I was told my a locl car audio genius that it was a grat way to help out your system by running the ground all the way back...

I have a 4 ga. ground in my car like that just not hooked up..but it should help...Unless you have a full frame car..if so then ground anywhere.

To add on to the above, ^^ you may want to consider a "dual ground" where you ground the
(-)batt to AMP run to the frame just before the amp. That way you know it can't hurt to try.
Did you upgrade the engine block to frame ground?

i personally cant think of a bigger waste of wire than running the neg. all the way from the amps to the battery. Keep that wire short.

upgrade the neg on batt to chassis wire, and dont forget the engine ground upgrade. Your alt wire upgrade is nothing without it.
