I have 2 rockford amps (500.2) and I will be getting 2 HX2 15' or 18's. What size alternator should I get (my stock alt is 90 amps). Also how many batteries should I get. I am going to compete in the Super Street Class.

Personally, I believe that you can never have enough voltage for competition use. Go with as large of alternator as you can and atleast 1 battery per amp. JMHO!!

run 2 batts and 3 1 farad caps or hell just run 1 15 farad cap should cost u about the same give or take $100. check out mralternator.com for alts they got 200 ampers for $200-300
