Definately the Optima's. I have 5 Optima 800u's in my Civic and 9 Stinger spb1000's in my van. In my opinion the Optima's are twice as good and half the price!

I am a firm believer in West CO SVRS for audio applications. The Optima is a very good underhood replacement still my in my mind though still. I have not tried the Stingers personally, but we compared the SVR to the Optima and in our case the SVR performed better. My advice: let's see a bunch of answers on this one, check your available resources and prices on the batteries, and then make your decision.

those guys driving around in little honda civics all suped up, with hugh spoilers, and sick rims. massive tips that make there cars sound like dirtbikes and the little fire extingusher on the A-pilar. that's a rice boy. you could be stereo-typical and deem it as some once of asian decent, but in all of my experieces, it is less condusive of the driver and more in respects to there car.
IMO, anything that doesn't have a use is stupid (those hugh spoliers that hang 12 inches above the trunk, small profiles ones are nice, depends on the car), the fire extiguser thing, what the hell is the point of that. rims are okay, they make any car look better. the stupid neon sticks on the dash, this is dumb. if used for a theft deterent okay, but having it flshing all the time and mounted poorly so as to just be a stick protruding on the dash, why.
exhaust tips, chevy's sound nice naturally, if you wanna make you car sound better, good, go for it. but i laugh my ass off every time i see a car that has some form of exhaust work done, and it sounds like a loud ass dirtbike, this isn't cool, it's dumb. harley rumble is cool, chevy burble is cool, dirtbike sounds coming from anything but a dirtbike, not cool. this is rice boy, the application of something that has no real use other than, just because.

Lets not start the rice thing on here. I don't say anything on Sounddomain, but here I don't feel like putting up with that BS..
Anyeway, I like the Stingers, but I have seen good/better results from the optimas. I have no experience with SVRs yet, but a lot of competitors use them..

well I love my Optima yellow top, so thats my choice.

oh and on the exhaust note, all you need is a cat back with a super turbo muffler from Dynomax, it doesnt have that tuna can on steriods sound, it really is very quit but since it has virtually no back pressure is alot better than that NOPI crap those guys are running. oh and how many of them have gone the exra mile and done the rest of the work too, you know header(since you know its a 4 cyl and they only have 1), intake, cam work, injector upgrade, computer upgrade, hehe, and most important brake upgrade, cause if you are going faster you need to be able to stop quicker too.

In Jap cars a certain amount of backpressure is NECESSARY, so opening things up too much is a BAD thing, and will actually DECREASE your HP. (just mentioning it because you said something about no backpressure).
