ok, correcty me if i am wrong but cant you get relays to work both ways?? like you can get one that will complete the circuit when power is sent to it or you can get one that will break the circuit when power is sent to it?? seems like they would make some... thanks

Yes, the standard Bosch type relays do both. They are called single pole double throw relays. With the coil energized the the output is connected to one input, when the coil isn't energized the output is connected to the other input. So depending on how you wire it, it will work both ways.
