Hey Everybody,

I was wondering if i wanted to run a svr33-12 as my starting battery and two svr 80's in the back for my amps would i need a isolater, since they have diffent output ratings and etc, even though they are made buy the same company. Also do you think it would be wise to get my high output alternator first then get my svr' becuase how it's looking for two svr 80's and a 33 i am going to be paying like 280 not shipped when i could get my 130 amp alt for only 159 shipped so what do you all think. Any info would behelpful thanks. Oh yeah what is a good small really cheap battery to run extra lights(strobes, etc.) Thanks again

1) What you want to do is find the the Internal resistance of each battery. If they are similar (and i'm guessing they are very close) you probably wont need an isolator. They will charge uniformly.

2) Your system is only as good as the weakest link. Get whatever you want first i doubt it would matter much. Sounds like the alternator would be a good place to start in your case.

3) Why not just run the strobes off of the rest of your battery system? This seems the most logical by far.

Thanks alot for the info Nate. The reson i want to use another batter for th elights is because i want the svr 80's power to go directly to the amps, and the svr 33 will power the car and a us amps usa 100 that's why i don't want to strain the front battery with all that on it,but if you think it will be ok then i probably will just hook it up to the svr 33,more than likely first though i will get the high output alternator

Well all of your batteries are connected together, so if you are straining one yo uare straining them all. But no, I dont think a few lights should present much of a problem.
