I have one 2 gauge cable today and I was planning on getting a single 0 gauge instead but this cable is hard to find over here.
Will I reduce voltage drop by adding another individually fused 2 gauge cable instead of upgrading to a single 0 gauge cable? I know the cross sectional area will be larger with two 2 gauge cables but the resistance will be higher in a 2 gauge than in the 0 gauge, right?
I think my 1200D is drawing somewhere around 150-160A when burping and I feel a need to reduce the voltage drop.

Use a voltage meter and measure the voltage at the battery, then burp it (or play it, or do whatever you do that you think is giving you a large voltage drop). Watch how low the voltage goes.
Now go back to the amp, and measure the voltage at the amp terminals. Then burp it again, and watch how much it drops.
Is there a significant difference between these two? If so, you need bigger wire. My guess is that your wire is good enough though, and you probably just need better/more batteries.

Well, I´ve done this already and there was a difference of about 0.3V between battery and amp. Sure it´s a small drop but if it might give me a fraction of a dB on the meter to upgrade with another cable I´m doing it
My battery is a brand new Exide Maxxima 900 CCA (known as Exide Select Orbital in the US?) and I can´t add another battery since I´m in Street class
