If I were to run two Optima Redtops, one in the front and one in the rear would that be better than one YellowTop in the front? Thanks for your input!

well they are different batteries meant for different purposes... starter and deepcycle
i say if its a daily driver then it really wont matter which setup you use... you will get more power from the two redtops than the one yellow, but those red tops cant be drained too much before they are damaged. if its going to be a continuos street party machine, then i would use 2 yellow tops with an isolator in between...

No I am talking about running either 1 Optima yellow top or running two Red tops. I can run two Redtops...one under the hood and one in the trunk in parralel right?

Ahh... gotcha now. Yes, if you wanted to run two red tops you would just wire them in parallel (with appropriate fusing obviously). Two red tops would definitely give you more power, HOWEVER, red tops are cranking batteries, and are NOT meant to be drained below 90% or so of their full charge. In other words, you cannot play your system with the vehicle off for any length of time, or you will damage you batteries.
