I read in a previous post you stated you have went thru 3 alternators because of a bad ground? I was wondering if you could be so kind as to elaborate a bit ? It would be very helpful to not only myself but many other also .. Are you talking about the stock ground wire that comes of the alternator and connects to the engine ? If so , what do you recommend to replace it with and where do i need to reconnect it? Sorry about all the questions but it would help me ALOT!!!! Thank You in advance ....

Nevermind , after looking at my alt. i noticed the bracket that supports it is the ground . i just ran a new huge wire from this bracket to my battery and it seems to help ALOT . thanks anyway iggster!!

Ehh sorry it took so long man. Been working a lot. But here it goes anyways even though you found your problem. My bad ground was in the trunk itself. There was rust on the ground, and that was causing me to have alt whine, and cause it to go bad. I finally redid the ground, and did not have one problem with my alternator after that. Another thing I did not do was upgrade the factory ground under the hood. I am sure that was hurting me as well. I still have yet to do that in my new car, I am waiting until I get my new battery. Again sorry for the delay, but im glad you figured out your problem
