my friends truck has carzy amounts of highs, and too much bass, but no mid bass, we are looking for a mid driver, that is'n real expensive but is good quality, any suggestions?

The Coustic HT-807 6.5" woofer. Recently disco'd but you should be able to find them. Good performer, and cheap. I bought the last 10 Aralex had!
EBAY has a pair of RF Power 6.5" midbass on it right now...

Crutchfield has MTX, RF, Kappa, and maybe even Polk and Kenwood mid-bass drivers for sale. Also, check out PartsExpress.com, they have a huge selection of mb drivers - just need to check out the brands and prices.

yeah, Parts Express has these mystery midbass and tweeter separates on closeout right now manufactured by Vifa/Scanspeak. They are, I'm pretty sure, Exacts by Soundstream. They look the same and have the same specs. They have 4" for 19.50 each and 5.25" for 35.00 each. You might want to check into that. There's a link to them on the right side of the home page.
