I put this Q in the Signal Processors forum where it should be, but I have a feeling it won't get answered/seen by many people.
I'm going to be using a Phoenix Gold XS4600 or T600.1. I'll be running that to a pair of DD 6.5's. The amp will be able to take care of the HP around 80hz. I'll also be running a pair of CD1Pro MH's off of an amp that basically doesn't have an xover. I need the best/cheapest way to get the 6.5's LP'd around 800hz and the horns HP'd around 815hz (Does that sound like a good point for the MH's, or is it too low?).

If 6dB is ok, The cheapest way would be to use a .8mH coil in series with the mid, and a 25mfd cap in series with the horn (If it's 8ohm).
If you need 12dB, a 1.1mH coil in series and a 70mfd cap in parallel AFTER the coil to the mid, and a 17.5mfd cap in series with a 1.1mH coil in parallel AFTER the cap to the horn.
I'd let the mid run wide open, and only put a highpass on the horn of at least 12dB/octave set at 11 or 1200 Hz. This should give you plenty of low end out of the horn, and still give a ton of authority to the midrange with the both drivers playing. I feel inserting 2 second order passives on a single amp channel is touchy, could lead to phasing problems, and big problems in the crossover region.....

12 db/octave is what I was looking for. I always thought that having more than one driver playing the same frequencies was a no no, but if you think it would give me some better midrange, I'll do it. Do you think that letting the DD playing up to where it naturally rolls off (around 3500hz I think)would sacrifice midbass clarity/power handling? Also, where should I buy that 17.5mfd cap and 1.1 mh coil? Does Zalyton and similar sites sell them? Thanks for the help.

power handling and midrange clarity will remain excellent. You'll love those 6.5's.

Select products sells 18mfd caps @ 2.29, 80mfd @ 3.19 each, and 1.2mH IRON CORE coils for 6.00 each..
Parts Express- 17mfd @ .70, 80mfd @ 1.80, 1.1mH AIR CORE @ 5.10, or 1.0mH iron core @ 5.73....
BTW, I think air core inductors "Sound" better, more accurately, they dont saturate as quickly as Iron core...

You do NOT want to cross those horns over that low at that low of a slope...the minihorns need to be crossed over minimum at 1000 hertz and 24 db/octave. They come with a crossover schematic, and I'd give it to you if I can find it...call Matt and see if he has one handy.

As for the low-pass on the DDs, you may want to try a set of F-Mods (in-line RCA 12 db x-over). I've used them a lot in past installs and have had no problems. They're not the steepest slope, but they do a good job for 12 dB x-overs @ ~$25 - $30/pair.
