From what i've heard played on MBQ's, you really need the musicomp crossover. If your not wiling to drop the extra 100-150, then the existing ones will do.

I like Quarts, for about 15 minutes and then I just get tired of them. This is how I feel about most metal dome tweets used in car audio.

Hey personally I find MB QUarts have really bright tweeters but also have very good off axis response which is good for most vehicle whe placed in the doors.

My favorite of all would be FOCAL Handmade in France. They use an inverted titanium dome tweeter, and are all tested at the factory. They are the nicest sounding speaker in Car audio I have ever heard. The Focal Utopia. Need I say more.. All of my customers have been changing to Focal from MB QUart and most of the first place winners use FOCAL now.
