Hey people
just a quick Q ,ive got RF6.5" components in my doors at the moment ,but i want to add some 4" speakers as well ,problem is the local RF dealer wont sell me the 4" by them selves ,as i dont need more tweets and xovers i dont want to buy the whole thing
Is there any way to get these 4" separate???

Have you gone to Craig's in Rotorua? You could probably talk him into letting a set go.

(Thats assuming you're on the North Island!)

If not.. Try to find a used pair on ebay and just pay the shipping costs ;-)

If worse comes to worse, you might have to just buy a 4" component set and just sell the tweets.

But, try craig's first.. He seems like a nice guy, maybe he'll pull some strings for you.

2 sets of tweets can come in handy. Have one set on the kicks and one up on the dash or on the door up towards your thighs or the A-pillar. Could also put a set back in the rear deck or rear doors (if 4 doors). In a truck, you could mount them in the kicks, on the doors, dash, up by the rear window, in the X-cab space (if x-cab) somewhere, up by the windshield and the head-liner joint area, etc.

Might make it kinda bright, but if done right, it could make for a nice sound. Have the one set at 0 - 3 dB gain/attenuation and the other at -3 dB attenuation. Could have some possibilities .

If they are like Infinity Beta tweets, might be able to cross them over down at 1.5K to 10K (like a mid-range) and the other from 3.5K on up for the other set. Possibilities are endless.

Or, sell them, someone will gladly take the pair off of your hands .
