I'd go with Audiophyle, see where he's doing his shopping . Might also want to try Parts Express. They carry Dynaudio, not sure if they did or still do carry Focal, but worth a try . I think they also carry Morrel (spelling?). Granted, they also carry bargain basement junk too, but it might be a cheap place to get some good quality equipment!!

I was just looking around at partsexpress.com and I found some small subwoofers
they might be for home audio but I'm thinking about putting them in my car..
I'm interested in this one I'm going to expand on below..
MOREL MW-142-8 5" WOOFER
A unique 5" unit that incorporates a damped polymer composite cone, huge 3" Hexatech voice coil, vented double magnet system, and smooth response up to 5KHz. All this results in a very impressive bass/midrange driver.
the price is $76.90
I've heard great things about morel drivers..
I was thinking about putting these speakers in my stock locations.. maybe with a baffel and my door deadened as much as possible.. I'm going to see how much room I have to build a enclosure behind there..
and they had a Dayton speaker on that page also.. how do these sound?

Shane, they will probably sound pretty good, however, according to the part number, they are more than likely an 8ohm driver. Not that that is necessarily bad, however, you'll need twice the amp power to get the same spl as the 4ohm'ers. Morel are generally very good sounding speakers! If you can get the T/S specs, I'll help you get a box size, maybe that could help you make the final answer (I feel like Regis!)
------------------ STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!
If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

I'm with Audiophyle on this one, Morel are pretty nice speakers. As for the 8 Ohm load, yaup, needs a bigger amp, but if yer wanting bass up front, you're already planning on good power-plant size anyway .
Either choice: Audiophyle's or the Morel would be a good option. I think there are some posts on here (and articles in CA&E, CSR, and AS&S) on taking speakers from home to car. Also, those Focals that Ben mentioned are very nice. I've heard their home line *drool*. Hrm, now if we can only convince B&W to make car speakers !!
