Going in the front doors an '03 silverado with a kicker zx650.4. Looking for a component set for the front doors and something for the 4x6 opening in the rear doors. Found above component set for $430. What are some options?

and I can only think of one 4.1 componet set that can handle close to that power but they are no longer in buisness and thats the oz me100 series componets which I have them and they are very loud I am running a little over 100rms to them and they handle 150 rms a side but you are either going to have to switch amps go with something different on the rear doors but you may be able to find those oz speakers on some of the internet shops or on ebay

The ZR's do come with a warranty. I also would not have the amp turned all the way up, I just have one already that I would rather use instead of buying something else since its a pretty good amp. I found some Boston Acoustic 746 for the rear that handle a decent amount of power. Anyone know how these sound?

where are you getting that price on ZR's and getting a real warranty? If it's online, you aren't getting a warranty from JL. Period.
That's only $26 over authorized dealer cost. My boss won't even sell them to me that cheap, and I work for an authorized JL dealer.
Please say how you're finding this price.

A friend of mine works for a company that deals JL and can get them for that price. Not mentioning the company or names just to stay safe.

Why would you have to find them if your friend deals in them?

Hmmmm I call upon the power of the almighty GOOGLE and come up with.....

You can believe what you want. This thread wasn't about where I am getting things, I was asking what is comparable. Obviously if other people have them for that price then they can be had. I didn't have to "find" them, that was just how I stated it.

Yes those sources do admit they aren't.

Yes I was just asking for the price if there was anything comparable.
