I am going to be running four 4 ohm 6x9's and have a rockford 500.2. Will the 6x9's be alright if I run two on each channel? It would have about 125w each, I was just wondering about the ohms.

The amp is 2ohm stereo stable, so the amp should handle it fine. But, kenwood 6x9's are rated for 50, 80, or 90Wrms...depending on the model. So that may be too much power if you are driving them hard

I have the 80w right now, i will not be using the ones in my sig. I am upgrading to an overhead mount and just making sure it will be fine before I purchase, I thought it would, just making sure. Thanks

headroom FTW. distortion and harmonics from clipping can heat a coil 3times as fast as extra power. extra power you could run into excursion limits though. Cross them over and use the subs for the lows and you should be just fine
