I just installed 2 sets of Kickers KS6.2 6 1/2 Component set in my CRX they sound awesome. Not the best but definetely not the worst. And they are powered by my Alpine CDA-9885, and still sound rather good. After Finals I will beef up the doors with dynamat and see how much midbass I can get out of these speakers and put in a 4 channel amp for even more power. Because with a half-a$$ install just to make it to Finals, they have pretty good midbass, the tweeters are a TAD bit too bright for me, but I will work out the kinks.

I feel like a kid in a candy store, you see these Kicker speakers are installed in my Street A, CRX and daily driver. Now my drive to work, will be 110% better. [Big Grin]

Kicker Mids and Tweets are pretty good in my book.....

Oh yeah, thanks Tracy......

I just got back from Finals, but as far as pics, right now the 6 1/2's are in their stock locations, but in a bit, I will have KS 5 1/4 components in the kickpanels and use the 6 1/2 in the doors for midbass.

I will be putting up pics later, probably in a week or two.

What 4 channel Kicker amp would you suggest? But keep in mind, I like to overpower my speakers, so they may be able to sound that much cleaner, not to make them that much louder.

Yup they are running off the headunit, and they sound pretty clean. But like I said I am gonna deaden the hell out of my doors and see just how much midbass I can get out of the 6 1/2's. As for amp power I was thinking about the ZX700.5, just so I can have a normal and hopefully bassrace-able setup also, in addition to my Street A setup in the car.

What do you think??

You know, I did not even think about that amp. That may be an even better choice for my setup.

deaden the doors and the midbass will be better, may even compensate slightly for the brightness from the highs.
